I too have a facelift 2012 Kia Cee'd with the 1.6 CRDi engine and have also had this exact same issue with the clutch where it would make a slightsequel or brushing sound in 1st and reverse when setting off. The clutch would take up on the floor and it was getting very difficult to select a gear the pedal was also very stiff.
